The single best way for us to pray for our friends and loved ones is to arrange for them to be remembered at the Divine Liturgy. We serve approximately 130 Divine Liturgies per year, so your friends or loved ones will be prayed for approximately every three days as a rule at St. Vladimir's. Please visit the page linked below to learn more and to arrange for your friends and loved ones to be commemorated at the Divine Liturgy at St. Vladimirís:

One of the positive things that has come from the pandemic and quarantine is the great number of people that have volunteered to read at St. Vladimirís at the Divine Services. Many new people have begun to read, and we want to provide the opportunity for our new readers, or those who would like to learn to read in the future, to be more educated in the structure and process of the Divine Services. Or put another way, to learn what to read and sing when (and why). We will offer classes via Zoom/Google Meet Russian and separate classes in English. To express your interest please email info@stvladimiraami.org.

Things We Sing Together at St. Vladimir's

Posted by Fr. Gregory

There are several prayers that we sing together at St. Vladimir's. We want you to know this so that you can practice. :) And the pandemic is the perfect time to practice MORE! That way we will sing these with zeal - with power! WE SHOULD BE LIFTING THE ROOF WHEN WE SING THESE - THEY SHOULD BE SUNG VERY STRONGLY - ESPECIALLY THE CREED AND "HAVING BEHELD THE RESURRECTION..."

Saturday Vigil (and matins during Pentecost) - "Having Beheld the Resurrection of Christ":

Weekly Educational Offering - Prepare for the Coming Sunday!
27/5/20, 06:00 AM
Posted by Fr. Gregory

We present here a short educational offering for both children and adults on the upcoming Sunday's principle Gospel reading so that all can better prepare for the Divine Services. Parents are asked to review the childrenís portion with their children. It is very important for us to attend the Divine Services on Sundays and whenever else we are able, but in addition it is our spiritual responsibility to educate ourselves and our families in the faith. It is our hope that this mid-week offering will be an aid in this regard. Please contact Fr. Gregory with questions or suggestions.

For Adults: from the writings of Blessed Theophylact

For Children: from the Antiochian Archdiocese (various age groups)

Christ is Risen!

I have the sad duty to report that today our brother in Christ, Nick Vlisides, fell asleep in the Lord. We ask your prayers for the newly reposed Nicholas, his wife Julia, his family, and all who are suffering at his loss. May the merciful Lord grant him His Kingdom! More information on the funeral arrangements will be forthcoming. For now Ė your prayers for Nick, Julia, and their families are most important and most appreciated.

Indeed He is Risen!
